Played our first game in the Nova Wars Ladder today against one of the presumed better teams in the tourney. =RF= showed that on Panic Attack A, where they made life very hard for us. It got close in the end, the Ratz nearly stealing it, but =RF= took it by 3 kills. B side became a different ballgame with the Ratz flooded all psp's and set up their deadly rape. 150-84 showed true hunger. Then it was off to our homemap for the evening, Sidewinder. Had some troubles from A-side, due to =RF='s shooting abilities and the fact that it's harder to play west to east. Still feel we controlled it most of the time. On B-side we played close to perfection. Got to where we wanted relatively quick letting no one out, except a lone sniper which we just let be. The rest got pretty much beat up in and around their spawn.
The game was played in the best of spirits, and =RF= proved to be a great team to play against. We wish you the best of luck onwards in the Nova Wars, and are already looking forward to the rematch.
