As Ratz usually have a lot to say, we've decided to make a Ratz Corner. It will be a weekly interview with one of our members to get their view on things. We'll post it in the news section for now, but I assume that it will get a special place somewhere soon. First off is one of our veterans.

Ratz Corner - Interview with Bear
Tell us a little about yourself!?
- My name is Bjørn, i'm 35 year and married, also have two lovely kids at 10 and 7 years. I work in a factory whos
produsing doors Scanflex
I live in a small town south in Norway, called Lillesand, which is a sleepy town in winter and party-party at summer:-)
Tell us your specs!?
Intel Pentium 4 2,53 gig, 256 ddr, ATI 9700 pro, 19" monitor and using adsl 1024/256 for the monent... And dont ask for more
details... I'm a real nOOb to this specs....
Why are you called Bear and is there a specific story behind it?
- My nick Is Bear... The reason is that all names was too stupid so the easiest was Bear because its the direct
translation from my real name :-))
How long have you played Delta Force, and tell us how it started?
- Hmmm, how long i've been playing?? 4 1/2 year ca.... Don't really know, i hate to see i'm getting older.... It started
when i got a copy of DF-2 and then i was sold to DF-Games... Started to play alone and joined a local squad called FTH
(Forgotten Television Heroes). In the beginning it was only players from Lillesand and we loved to play against DSR......
Squad was going down and most of the players joined DSR... I was just playing for fun alone for a while after that, but I
saw I had to join a squad and then it was DSR where the rest of FTH was...
It's rumoured that a lot of cognac is consumed in southern Norway when servers are filling up. Do you know why? Special brand?
- I've been working as a chef for 12 years and among us chefs it has been consumed lots of cognac and I love it... In these days when cognac has stiff prices in Norway I'll have to buy low-price.... But give me Otard-XO, De-luze-XO or Hartman Birkedal and I'm in heaven.
What is your current role at D.S.R?
-At the moment as u can see in roster, I'm DF-LW-Admin (co) But mostly im consentrating on the same job in BHD.. And
enjoing it..
What is your speciality in gameplay?
- I think it must be like a rat sneaking all over and suddenly pop-up and kill... I'll hate to have a spesific place to
be.. But for the team ill do everything..
My favourite character is CQB, and weapon of choice is car15/m203.
What is your favourite D.S.R moment?
- My favourite DSR moment was in Oslo for 3 years ago (think it is 3 year) When i and Brummi was going on NAT-lan and met Nitro,FSU,Faith and Hansiball for the first time in real-life.. That and last time i was in Bergen and met more of those
crasy ratz:-))
Spesific match is hard to remeber, its been lots of them.....
What would you say are D.S.R strengths and weaknesses as a squad?
- DSR strengths are teamspirit and that everyone is working as a team and for eachother all time...
Weaknesses???? Baahhhh...
D.S.R have played loads of teams up thru the years. What is your most memorable game? And what team do you always enjoy
playing?
-A norwegian clan called V1A and Those danish Wikings (Platoon Wiking) is always fun to meet... Its so many squads i like playing against... Can't name them all...
Spesific match is hard to remeber, its been lots of them.....
Do you have a nemesis out there? a special player whom you always have great fights with?
- Hehe... lots of players.. Those DSR-ratz is alwayas a hell too fight with...
How are D.S.R doing in the current tournaments and leagues?
- DSR have growned as a squad, new players and lots of new input so for the moment we ruulser in tournaments and leagues:-))
Do you have any specific things you want to achieve with D.S.R?
-First we take Europe then we take the rest of the world..... Ooops.. maybe i have too eat those words.. but i really want that we shall be best all the time
What do you think about the D.S.R Community, and how do you expect it to be in the future?
- DSR community will be there for many years... And the DF-Part will rock on as long as there are squads to fight with...
Also think that we will be playing new DF-games for many years..even though LW seems dead, the new DF-games are fun to play as well.
In all aspects of life we choose rolemodels, people or players one can learn from. Tell us about yours!
-The first player that really irritated me was Nitro....... Coldn't see him on the field, but the only player that killed me was... offcourse Nitro... But i also got a lots of trixs and hints from him and all the others players in DSR.... Luuve
