Mulig det kan hjelpe deg...
I have a radeon 32mb DDR and I did recieve the same message as a lot of you did.
Which said something like
"Assertion" failed
which is related to your graphics card.
All I needed to do was to goto this link
(only for people with a via chipset m/board)
http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2 And download the latest via drivers plus make sure you have direct x 8.1 from
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/downloads/drx81.asp If you don't have a VIA chipset (Or Don't Know), check with your PC manufacturer or motherboard maker for chipset information.
and also make sure your graphics card drivers are the latest. if you hav a radeon go here
http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html and choose your os and graphics card from the list
Also these are settings you may need to make for more speed (frames per second)
open your armyops.ini which is in the folder
C:\Program Files\Army Operations\System
then goto the section that says
[D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice]
which is about halfway down
and change to these settings for a high spec graphics card
HighDetailActors=True
UsePrecaching=True
UseTrilinear=True
AdapterNumber=-1
ReduceMouseLag=True
UseTripleBuffering=True
UseHardwareTL=True
UseHardwareVS=True
UseCubemaps=True
DesiredRefreshRate=85
UseCompressedLightmaps=False
MaxPixelShaderVersion=255
UseVSync=False
DetailTextures=True
DescFlags=0
Description=
or these settings for a not so high spec card
HighDetailActors=False
UsePrecaching=True
UseTrilinear=False
AdapterNumber=-1
ReduceMouseLag=True
UseTripleBuffering=True
UseHardwareTL=False
UseHardwareVS=True
UseCubemaps=False
DesiredRefreshRate=60
UseCompressedLightmaps=False
MaxPixelShaderVersion=255
UseVSync=False
DetailTextures=False
DescFlags=0
Description=
Hopefully this is of some help
my fps seems over 80fps at a guess
ALSO i think the setting
UseHardwareVS=True should be false for faster frame rates and this setting
UseVSync=False if you have it should be false to if you dont have this setting type it in underneath the rest and save
make sure you have a backup though.
